CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is the opportunity for you to join in with Gotreaux Family Farms for 12 weeks of our growing season. The CSA season is for 12 weeks. The Spring/Summer CSA veggies start off with winter veggies such as lettuces, greens, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and transition to summer veggies such as squashes, cucumbers, okra, green beans, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, melons, and herbs. The Fall/Winter season veggies start off with summer vegetables and move to winter vegetables as the weather cools. The box is packed with the best that we can offer. We try to have about 6- 8 varieties of veggies in the box each week. The box contains enough veggies for a family of four but sometimes depending on how much your diet consists of veggies we have had couples enjoy the box each week. If the veggies are more than you can consume in a week we believe in sharing with neighbors, family members, or co-workers and introduce them to local sustainable great tasting food! We will do our best to have a terrific growing season, but sometimes the weather surprises us all and we have a crop failure or sometimes one crop reaps in abundance. Either way in joining with us for the 12 week growing season you get to share in either way it goes.
